Home Prices in Aurora have significantly increased over the last month. The average price went from $1,223,499 in February to $1,454,946 in March (+19%). That makes Aurora the second most expensive town in York Region, ranking behind King City (avg. $1,925,399) and slightly ahead of Richmond Hill (avg. $1,447,684). The average price for a detached home is now $1,655,286.

Although prices in York Region are still 10-15% lower on a year-over-year basis, a strong upward trend is noticeable and we would expect that by May latest the price level will be the same  - or higher - than last year.
