November Numbers - Real Estate Market Report

Aurora's and Newmarket's average home prices have gone down in November compared to October. While a house in Aurora cost $906,928 on average in October, the price decreased in November by 5.2% to $859,363. 79 homes have sold, which is comparable to October (82).

In Newmarket the average price dropped by 7.2% from $751,325 in October to $697,452 in November and a total of 86 homes have sold (119 in October). While the average home price throughout the GTA (including Toronto) was up by 3.5% compared to last year's November, Aurora (-6.8%) and Newmarket (-15.4%) are still lagging behind.

The average price in East Gwillimbury increased in November slightly and went from $801,326 to $818,129 (plus 2.1%). Sales on the other side were down quite a bit. Only 34 homes have sold (49 in October).
